The <Vice Staff> (darkness staff while unidentified) is a unique staff weapon in Elona+. It's held by <Sophia>, a level 250 god. It is awarded to the player for completing the quest Mission from Sophia the first time, after which she will no longer have the weapon.
This weapon does not drop as loot when she dies, and precious items cannot be stolen, but another way to obtain the staff is by using an Astral Light Pen on <Sophia> and taking it from her inventory.
Before version 2.08, this staff has the property "It deals magic damage to the magic attacker" (####, 150 enchantment power) instead of “It combine darkens and nether spells”.
