<Tezcatlipoca>(Japanese name lit. Night Smoke Tezatlipoca) is an Elona+ exclusive hostile unique NPC. Added in 1.67. He can be found in Cradle of Chaos at F39 as a boss. He innately floats. He has <Yohualli Tezcatl> and drops it upon death.
To fight him, player needs to talk to Black gauntlet <Leold> then choose any choice in the first talk. In the second talk, choose the third choice <I will fight Tezcatlipoca>. After that, <Leold> will transform into <Tezcatlipoca> and the fight begins. At the start of the battle, he instantly uses Smoke Mirror gauge attack. This special action causes the map to be filled with smoke and makes him stronger/weaker depending on player's attributes. It is recommended player with low HP to not have fury status at the beginning of the battle. Two hostile talon soldiers will also spawn and much stronger than normal talon soldiers.
In combat, he damages target using Distant Attack and Eye of Illusion special actions. He teleports using Dimensional Move special action. He also buffs his attack with elemental attack using Attribute special action. He also still uses his gauge attack, Smoke Mirror. He has the special ability to nullify smokescreens during his turns.
Since the map itself is filled with smoke, seeing or targeting him will be harder, especially for range player. The smoke effect can be removed using ball, bolt type spells, or breath attack.
After player defeated him, talon soldiers will disappear. <Leold> will be available to be talked again.
Pet Reward[]
This can be done twice. Player must defeat <Tezcatlipoca> first, then talk to <Leold> again. After choosing the 4th option, player will be offered to earn a pet from him:
- 2nd option: male talon soldier
- 3rd option: female talon soldier
- 4th option: male fin crocodile
- 5th option: female fin crocodile
Defeating Enthumesis will let the player choose again.
As of Elona+ 1.99 both pets can be evolved, and like the other god pets, they require a god heart.
