I've seen Big Daddies on DL about 5 or maybe less several times.

So, uh, these Big Daddies and Little Sisters -- is this inspired by BioShock, or something else? Jdstroy 06:22, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Scratch that, it is. Jdstroy 06:24, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

I've only run into a Big Daddy once, and it shot me full of holes with a pistol. So much for kiting it. 79.65.65.227 01:44, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

Well no matter how well you can kite it you still need to be decently strong to fight it.RCName 00:47, December 1, 2009 (UTC)

I'm way too weak in my new game to fight a Big Daddy, but from what I remember of the game I had a year ago wasn't there random new miracle/godly artifacts among the copies of your own?RCName 00:47, December 1, 2009 (UTC)

Needs more explanation about what "copy of your artifacts" means. Is it a one time thing? Do you have to have your artifacts with you? Is it an item? --Johndeezy 07:28, December 9, 2009 (UTC)

I believe that the entire purpose of it is an artifact retrieval method. That is, if you lost something somehow, say you dropped your cooler box when you died tussling with a rogue boss, you'd be able to get a new one through rescuing little sisters. It only seems to let items you've had once before be recovered, and, of course, I don't believe you can use it to copy precious items. So no dual wielding lucky daggers. It could, however, be used to get yourself copies of stuff like rabbit tails or hero cheese, provided you've eaten some earlier. Freis 09:43, April 22, 2010 (UTC)

Seriously. A simple "Wait at town" and, far as I can see, anything regarding "care", "protection", or "they're weak" is null, irrelevant, and misleading. --FalosJ9ma6 06:33, June 19, 2010 (UTC)
