Sunbararian are an Elona+ exclusive NPC, added in version 1.32. They randomly appear in cities. At spawn time, they always have the sprite of a male Citizen (136), and assume their true form afterwards. They can drop <Sunbararia Helm> upon death (a 1/100 chance).
Sunbararians most often employ distant attacks, using the laser gun they always spawn with. As wizards, they cast Crystal Spear.

Trivia[]
They seem to be a reference to Gakkou de atta Kowai Hanashi ("Scary Stories At School"), which is an obscure mostly text-based horror game in Japan. An alien resembling the NPC is part of one or more of the stories in the game. The name of the alien romanizes in different ways, such as sumbararia or sunbaralia, so it is hard to find more specific English information on.
