Shopkeeper crows are Elona+ exclusive NPCs. They run shops at the Sacred Library of Irva, on the continent of Lost Irva. They don't have any notable ability and their only battle move is a simple ranged attack. As all birds, the shopkeeper crows float.

One also acts as the spell writer of the Library, accessible to any PC regardless of guild membership. At the spell writer, you can reserve spellbooks. The spellbook level available for reservation appears to be dependent on the shop rank i.e., amount of money invested. However, prices are three times higher than those of the Mages' Guild, which are already 1.5 times higher than regular shops.

Shopkeeper crows cannot be evolved.

  • cardshopk creates a card of shopkeeper crow.
  • figureshopk creates a figurine of shopkeeper crow.

The sprite number for the shopkeeper crow is 731. Later versions of the crow have portraits, located at 83 for the male and 163 (female portrait 83) for the female.

In some cultures, crows are considered symbols of wisdom. In Nordic and Japanese tradition this extends to their role as messengers of the gods. This, along with Sophia's name, plays on the theme of the Library being a place of wisdom.
