Putits (プチ, puchi) are weak enemies. They appear in the game's tutorial and are usually the first type of monster new players will fight. Despite the putit's lowly status, non-combat characters may struggle to defeat them without a pet.
Putit variants include red putits, military putits, and putit tanks. Military putits and putit tanks are Elona+ only.
Eating a corpse of putit raises the eater's charisma. This plus their high breed power can make them worthwhile to raise on a ranch.
Evolution[]

In Elona+, putits can now be evolved into a royal putit using a <king heart>, gaining 30 charisma, 30 speed, the Cheer special action, and a sprite change.

Elona+ Changes[]
Their corpses now are one of the necessary materials for crafting Putitoro, which grants a period of increased stat growth to Charisma and Learning. Whether the corpse is cooked, raw, or rotten does not affect the result.
Trivia[]
The literal translation of プチ (puchi) is "petite". The translation of "putit" ending up being a portmanteau of "putty" and "petite", although there's no evidence that this was intentional.
プチプチ (puchi puchi) is also a popping noise as in bubble wrap. This is presumably why *putit* sometimes pops up when you kill something with a powerful attack: you've popped/squished them like bubble wrap.
