Elona+ exclusive NPC added in version 1.93.

Has natural superb magic resistance. All others lost on recruitment. Is also bad for riding, metal, element damage immune, and floats.

Spawns with a larger amount of gold. This is used for its Golden Storm attack. Also drops some of it when killed, but not all like a Gold Bell would.

Quite a dangerous enemy when you first encounter them, and likely will be for awhile until you plain have the stats to deal with it.

In versions before 2.05 in particular (where the max player-to-NPC turns is lowered regardless of speed), thanks to its maxed speed, you can expect to be hit by everything. It's likely any bells or quicklings you have, should you still have them in act 2 or later, will be killed off.

If you ever see in your message log "something was overwhelmed" and it happens every turn you move, you can assume there's at least one of these around. Have defense buffs, speed buffs, and a health pool of a couple thousand at minimum, otherwise expect death at any moment.

Try to kill an old bell in one turn with magic missile, crystal spear, water bolt, rod of bubble ball, destiny dice, or anything inbetween that doesn't miss.

If not, you'll be hit with golden storm that will blind and hit (hard) 10 times, raging roar which confuses, smash ground for another guaranteed damage option (should it somehow wander close), psychic wave for bind + fixed damage (and hits everyone visible), and acid hurricane to assuredly kill off your metals/bells if it didn't already.

Once you (and your party) are well equipped, speedier, and higher leveled, this will eventually become "free AP" per say, as you can kill it off the next time you can act. But it won't be for a long while.
