This enemy only appears in the Elona+ version of Elona. A grotesque looking thing with a unique sprite, and one of the three forms of meshera. It is part of the Elona+ exclusive Bacteria race.

It casts Magic Dart from afar and Chaos Ball from both afar and close range, and won't try to make distance if the opponent gets close. It has superb resistance to all but raw magic.

Eating its corpse results in parasite infection ('pregnant') unless you have protection.

In earlier versions with the default non-Unicode font, the name for this monster will showed up as Meshera fA', when it attempted to show it's name as meshera γ. As of 1.42fix this has been fixed, the name is now displayed as "meshera gamma".

Wishing[]

It is not possible to get a card of meshera gamma by wishing due to the previous name's Unicode display problem. Wishing for the new name gives a card or statue of @, and wishing for meshera gives a card of meshera beta. This has been corrected in newest versions of Elona+ (changed since 1.42fix.)
