Marksman is a perception based skill that increases the ranged damage multiplier when using bows, crossbows, and firearms. As of Elona 2.02, I believe this is 0.1 ranged multiplier every 2 Marksman.
In 1.13 and earlier versions, marksman was a strength based skill.
Trained skill[]
You may only learn Marksman from the fighters guild trainer in Port Kapul or the thieves guild trainer in Derphy.
Elona+[]
NPCs who are not pets and have 50 or more Marksman skill will have a low chance (0.5% for normal NPCs, 5% for unique NPCs) to use some kind of special ammo (except time stop).
30 Marksman levels needed to learn Rampage.
40 Marksman levels needed to learn Fire a Volley.
50 Marksman levels needed to learn Zero Shoot.
Machinegod, Rock race and Gunner class are trained in the skill.
