<Larnneire> the listener of wind is an NPC that appears in your cave with Lomias at the beginning of the game (where they are neutral), randomly generated during Party Time! quests and occasionally as a lord of the Void (where she is hostile). She carries the Ether Dagger, and will not leave your cave until you enter Vernis, build a new house[confirm] (except in Elona+, which transfers servants to new houses), or tell Lomias to "Get out of my house!".
Larnneire is the key heroic figure in the overall plot of Elona, although virtually all of this plot is not in the English version of the game.
She mostly attacks with her dagger, but also uses the Nerve Arrow spell.
To get her Ether Dagger (and Lomias's Bow of Vinderre) at the beginning of the game, nuke the cave before entering Vernis. If you enter Vernis, they will disappear from your home, whether you have completed the tutorial or not.
Nukes can be purchased from <Noel> for 12,000 gold at Derphy. They weigh 120s, which means you will need to be able to carry at least 60s to be able to move while carrying it. You could let it crush you by holding down 's' or trying other actions while not moving, but there is a chance that you could drop it when you die, or that the items you drop will disappear before you can return to pick them up in Derphy.
Larnneire found during "Party Time!" quest
It is not necessary to kill her at the start of the game to get her dagger, however. She will spawn occasionally during "Party Time!" quests, and you can kill her without any serious consequence.
If you kill her and get multiple copies of the Ether Dagger, each new copy will transform into a random new artifact-level dagger, which may be potentially quite powerful, especially since you can probably kill her reliably at much lower levels than you would be able to find weapons of that level.

<Larnneire> the listener of wind has an updated sprite and a new unique portrait in Elona+. The portrait is located at 132 by the character sprite based numbering system (female portrait number 52). She also gains the Firearm skill.
On Act III, she can be found along with <Lomias> the messenger from Vindale and <Rianna> the daydreamer in Ulm-Leson when player reaches F28 in Cradle of Chaos. When talked, she currently gives untranslated sentences.
