<Lankata> the lightning of blue is a Elona+ exclusive hostile unique NPC. She was added in version 1.58. She can be found in Cradle of Chaos at floor 25 as an optional mid-boss. She has the <Heltiare> unique bow and drops it when killed.
She is accompanied with an overwhelming number of hostile NPCs which can attack from distance:
These enemies are affected by the Cradle of Chaos level boost.
When the PC meets her in that floor for the first time, she gives the PC untranslated dialogues and options. Next, flavor text message is displayed "<Lankata> the lightning of blue shouted as remind even herself. Sorry, this is untranslated sentence." and then she buffs all the enemies in the map using Cheer and enemies who have gauge lower than 50% will gain 10% gauge. The buff is not permanent. However, as long she is alive in the map, she keeps buffing all the NPCs and flavor text message is displayed "Soldiers morale went up.".
In combat, she shoots the target using bow. She casts Mist of Dazzling to cause failure of magic casting. On low health, she casts Healing Rain. She rarely uses Fire a Volley special action. However, if she uses the special action, especially if the map has an overwhelming number of enemies, a lot of enemies will shoot the player in a single turn.
It is not necessary to kill her and the enemies in the map as the PC can immediately go to the next floor since the downstairs is not locked. To reach the downstairs easier, the PC can make a teleportation action.
If she is killed, lothrian agents and zanan enhanced soldiers will appear in Amur-Cage as well. The PC will also get a Rusted bell quest item in his/her journal. The death of her also changes the events that occur in the future.
