<Issizzle> the dark abomination is the boss of the Crypt of the Damned, which is halfway between Vernis and Palmia in North Tyris. He appears on the 6th floor.

He is equipped with the <Staff of Insanity> and drops it upon his death. It greatly increases the damage and effectiveness of his spells.

He can cast Mist of Silence, Darkness Bolt, and can teleport around the level. He will occasionally move close and attack with his staff at melee range.

His listed resistances are an approximation based on his level resistance bonus to normal, the chaos resistance of his staff, the lich race weakness to fire, and resistance bonuses to darkness, nerve, and nether.
