Informers are NPCs that can show you a list of adventurers (which includes their name, fame, location, and level) and investigate an ally for 10,000 gold (which will show you a stat sheet akin to your own). If you have the gene engineer skill, you can investigate an ally for much cheaper by simply buying an expendable NPC from the slave trainer in Derphy and merging it with your ally (make sure you select your ally first otherwise they will be deleted!). This will display the stat sheet for much cheaper.

The sprite numbers for informer are 15 and 16 for male and female respectively.

Changes in Elona+[]

The price for investigating ally has been reduced to 100 gold. They also lose their resistances and gain the Firearm skill. Player can also choose his/her own birthday. This can only be done once so choose wisely!
