Healers can be found in most towns, for a small fee they will restore the body and spirit of your entire party. Useful if your PC or pet get enchanted negatively usually by Touch of Weakness special action from undeads. Positive enchantments will be not removed when using this service.
Eating their corpses will display "You feel as you have been corrupted." flavor text and also has chance to gain darkness resistance.
In Elona+, they can also remove cursed equipment which is being equipped by player. Cursed equipment which isn't equipped will be not be removed from its curse.
