Grudges are a type of hostile ghost NPC in Elona.

They will always attempt to move into melee range before attacking. Their attacks consist of unarmed attacks (45%), Touch of Weakness Special action (45%), which lowers your attributes temporarily, casting slow (5%), and casting mist of frailness (5%).

While not terribly dangerous, their draining power can cause some problems when going through dungeons at low level.

Grudges innately float. They have a natural superb resistance to darkness, nether, and nerve. As well as a natural weakness to fire.

Evolution[]

In Elona+, Grudges can be evolved into a Halloween Night Head with an <another heart>, gaining 30 constitution, 10 life, the Greater Throw Potion special action, and a new sprite with red tint.

Elona+ changes[]

The ghost race has received several changes in Elona+. The most notable change is the increase of the grudge's speed to 96, which makes it harder to avoid or fight.
