Golden knight is the first reward from worshiping Opatos of Earth. The golden knight is a Warrior who can cast heal critical and regeneration spells on itself and use the Insult special action.
When you receive the pet, you will be told that this knight can hold really heavy stuff for you. In game terms, this means that the golden knight can carry up to 270s worth of equipment and furniture. Despite this prodigious carrying capacity, it does not have the Weight Lifting skill. The Golden Knight is the only pet that can carry items classified as furniture, including happy beds, barbecue sets, and skill tickets. Like any other pet, if given any ore-type items, including small medals, it won't let you take them back and will sell them at the next opportunity, so be careful before doing that.
Their combat routine is melee. They will sometimes debuff the enemy with Insult before closing in to attack, or use the debuff in tandem with attacking. They are very durable thanks to their great Constitution and healing spells.
They're pretty much designed to tank damage, so equipping them with Heavy Armor or Medium Armor is a given. If the player has no use for it, the Gaia Hammer is a recommended weapon.
Evolution[]
In Elona+, golden knights can be evolved into a Golden Holy Knight using a <god heart>, gaining 40 strength, 10 constitution, 50 speed, Super Armor special action, and a new sprite.

They also can be found in Ol-dran as talkable NPCs and they are very strong. They also act as Guards, meaning they will attack the PC for having very low karma. They cannot be captured nor dominated.
