Fire crabs are a type of crab enemy in Elona.

Fire crabs attack from close range with their claws. They seem to have no elemental effect on those attacks. They have natural Superb resistance to fire.

Their corpses not only have a chance to increase fire resistance when eaten, but also "bring inner peace" to their consumer, lowering the consumer's insanity level.

Elona+ changes

Fire crabs are part of the Shell race after the removal of the crab race in Elona+. They do fire damage with their normal attack. They also learn the Analysis, Swimming, and Firearm skills.

Evolution

In Elona+, fire crabs can be evolved into a Duel Crab using a <king heart>, gaining 50 dexterity, 10 speed, Synchro Hearts special action, and a new tint.
