Safes are containers that contain money, ores and occasionally small medals. Most are locked and weigh 300 stones regardless of content. Can be found in towns, dungeons or occasionally carried by enemies like drakes, dragons and liches. You cannot store items inside.
As of recent versions of Elona+, it is possible to find one while digging in a dungeon.
