<Exossil> the chaos wing only appears in the Elona+ version of Elona. He resides in the Chaos Shrine, located to the southeast of The Smoke and Pipe in South Tyris.
Exossil hits really hard with his chaos eye, Chaos Vortex (aka chaos ball), darkness bolt, Nightmare and Mist of Silence spells.
In addition to this, he also uses Jyusou Goushin (self-buff and self-heal, but also self-curse), Group Hypnosis (AoE debuffs) and Eye of Insanity special actions.
Chasing him around when he starts teleporting is annoying, as he is like fighting a really strong lich. This is especially annoying due to the "anti-cheasing" mechanics that were added in version 2.17 (bosses very quickly regenerate to full health/mana/stamina when they are outside of your line of sight), so it is strongly recommended to either ban teleportation (using Smile Field or Space retention) or chase him with Shadow Jump.
After his defeat, he will give you the chos[sic]wings, a story item that will appear in your journal. This is one of three items you need to proceed in the main quest in Elona+. He also drops the Statue of Itzpalt.
Eating his corpse gives you Mind resistance and makes you temporarily insane.

Copying him with Astral Light Pen will cost 6 Magic Ink. It is worth noting that since he is an undeadgod, he is subject to the God recruiting penalty.

Customization[]
The sprite number for <Exossil> the chaos wing is 339 (Row 12, Column 10). He has a bluish tint, and shares the sprite with several other Undeadgod bosses. Because he uses a large sprite, any replacement must be 48x96.

- "<Exossil> the chaos wing, ruler of the Chaos Shrine, is level 60. It is said that he casts chaos and darkness magic amplified by his equipment while flying around."
- "Another thing I remember. I heard that a wizard who challenged him before was struck by Mist of Silence and couldn't use his magic, so he was completely helpless. I've heard that he also casts a curse that lowers your resistance, so even if you don't intend to use magic, you should bring rods or scrolls of Holy Light. I wonder if casting Holy Veil at a high enough level could also prevent that."
- "Since he's an undead god who floats, having some weapons with corresponding enchantments for those three qualities should help. He don't appear to have any particularly strong or weak resistances."
