Stronger and tougher than the dinosaur, a dragon also isn't as dumb as bricks, slightly better in the learning department than their ground-bound cousins. They do, however, share the same weakness of not being able to use melee weaponry.

Due to most dragons having a breath weapon, they are a hazard to friend and foe alike. This makes them dangerous to have as a pet in normal Elona. However, due to Elona Plus allowing the Control Magic skill to work with breath weapons, this drawback is no longer as severe. The race gains it as a default trained skill in later versions.
