Chaos clouds frequently cast chaos ball, a large area effect spell centered around it that does chaos damage. They are not a bad choice for a pet, since their control magic skill is high enough to rarely hit you or your other pets.

Eating the corpse of a chaos cloud may grant intrinsic chaos resistance (Flavor text: "Suddenly you understand chaos."). You may also take chaos damage. (Flavor text: "You are shaken by a chaotic power.").

Chaos clouds have the innate ability to float, and are innately resistant to Fear.

Elona+ changes

Besides having two stages of evolution, their race is now Wisp with stat changes to compensate. They gained 50 life and 70 mana. Their Shield, Control Magic, and Martial Arts skills were decreased, along with losing Casting and Mining, while they gain Firearm. Their resistances were also reduced.

Evolution

First Stage

Chaos clouds can be evolved into Dark soul with a <magic heart>, gaining 30 magic, 10 speed, Normal darkness resistance bonus, the Darkness Bolt spell, and a blue tint.

Second Stage

The first stage can be evolved again into Chaos Stormcloud Dragon with an <another heart>, gaining 20 magic, 25 speed, the Healing Rain spell, and a new sprite with black tint. The Healing Rain is used with 1/15 chance when above half health, or 100% when under half health.
