Camazotz (カマソッソ) is an NPC in the Elona+ mod of Elona.

As an enemy, it functions much like its lesser bat counterparts. Its high evasion serves to make it hard to hit, but its low health still makes it an easy target for magic damage. However, Elona+ adds bonus resistances to NPCs above level 100, rendering it comparatively more resilient.

It has inherent Float status and resistance to blindness.

Its speed is among the highest of all non-God, non-unique NPCs, therefore it could make a capable mount for the Riding skill; it would be recommended to add more equipment slots with Gene engineering and outfit the bat with rubynus gear to offset its poor life stat and increase its HP total. A total of 144 Riding skill is required to ride a camazotz at full speed. It keeps darkness(500) resistance upon recruitment.

The high speed and relative frailty also makes it a prime target for gaining AP, especially if one can cast a sufficiently powerful Magic Dart to bypass its DV.
