The <Blood rod> (red rod when unidentified) is a unique staff added in the Elona+ mod of Elona. It is wielded by <Ssil> the undead witch and drops upon her death. It has the unique enchantment "It change[sic] mana to attack power", which consumes 5% of your maximum MP if you are above 20MP, and adds 0.5% of your max MP to your attack dice (up to 200; to reach that, one must have 40,000 mana for maximum effect, and then each attack will drain 2000).
