Android is the first reward from worshiping Mani of Machine.
In combat they use a routine similar to the Cute fairy and Black angel: They will try to stay at least one tile away from the enemy and attack from range, but will randomly switch to melee if the enemy closes in. They can use the Boost special action.
They have considerably high Firearm skill for their level, a rarity for many other NPCs in the game, which means that they can start using said weapon type effectively since the moment they are recruited.
Sadly, in vanilla Elona, they can be overshadowed by other available god pets in both combat capacity and utility, as the androids lack both unique abilities and variety of special actions or spells.

Customization[]
The sprite number for the android is 218.
Changes in Elona+[]
In the Elona+ mod of Elona, androids have a different sprite. They also have a different appearance based on their gender, which is determined randomly when summoned. The sprite number for the male version remains the same, and the female version is 286. In addition, they now come to the player with an innate cArmour bit flag, reducing physical damage taken by 75%, but lose the Boost special action.
Besides the aforementioned evolution, they have gained Disarm Trap, Detection, Lock Picking, and Negotiation as trained skills, plus increased levels in Shield, Marksman, and Firearm, but lost Magic Device as a trained skill.
They also can be found in Albedrion, 2nd floor of the Dock as neutral NPCs, and can be copied. They cannot be captured nor dominated.

Evolution[]

In Elona+, androids can be evolved using a <god heart> into one of two gender-dependent evolutions. Male androids become Gun Laser, gaining 20 strength, 10 dexterity, 20 perception, and 50 speed. Female androids become Grang Griph, gaining 15 strength, 10 constitution, 25 perception, and 50 speed. Both genders gain Fire a Volley special action and a new sprite. However, both lose the boost special action.
