Hi! I'm currently playing elona+ 2.10. I have a fire dragon child and am trying to figure out how to teach it magic. I want it to be able to learn spells, anything at all, but I can't for the life of me figure it out. I tried gene splicing with a wizard of elea, but that didn't do anything. I tried giving the dragon books and rods, but it didn't use them. I even tried letting it spend gold in town and prayed that it would learn something, but that didn't work either. I'm completely stumped.

In the Main Quest, when you are ordered to gather the three stones, and you have to go to the Tower of Fire, you have to defeat the two bosses. It says one of the stones would be there, but I Houzanha'd every floor and I found nothing. Is this supposed to happen or did I just mess up? Also do these two bosses respawn after a given time?
Anyone know what do they do?
So I just started playing Elona+ for the first time. I was also struggling in my Elona game, as my character had incredibly bad stats (I realized its really hard to start off as an Elea wizard). I wanted to try Elona+ since it had more to explore. Here's what I started with:
Any tips for what I should do first? The Beginners guide is very sparse, and I started with only the tutorial bow and arrow, no other equipment. I did the "Early Trick" but as I had no armor I died quickly, only managing to level up once.
EDIT: after further reading I realized the Predator class is an unarmed class, thankfully I built it like that, but I'm not sure if being unarmed early on is smart or not
EDIT 2: I have realized what I am supposed to do, I am now level 9 and I just use a decent laser gun and my unarmed skills, the Little Girl a real unit to have with me, she has high speed and just yeets enemies with a claymore.

Is there a way to disable equipped gear showing on my character? I'm using custom sprites and as soon as I equip a breastplate or something, the custom sprite is covered up. I feel like I've done this before, but I could be mistaken.
Just leveled up and learned this in ECG+ 1.90, no info about what this is or does on the wiki.

Is there any way to cast a spell while under 0 mana without having to confirm that question???
Just got to a point where I cast most of my spells at thousands of negative MP, and is getting extremely ANNOYING to confirm "Yes" before casting every single spell. PLS HALP.

Do someone also know how to enable cutscenes in English version? I tried decompiling the .exe following those instructions, but they are probably outdated (can decompile just fine but not find and delete the check that triggers the disabling of cutscenes…)

Anyone know where I could go to make suggestions to the people working on Elona plus? Main issue I have had is I do not want to use gene engineering much because it looks like it will end up making super pets. Yet there is little work arounds for doing things like giving little girl casting or robber investing which are needed for their evolution.

Easiest thing I could think of it would help if I could just remove skills.

I've been out of touch with Elona for a while, bit I feel like getting back to it as of late, though I'm not sure which version to play;
When I last was around, Elona+'s translation stopped and was made incompatible with future versions of Elona +, omake was supposed to get more content in order to rival Elona+, but I have some catching up to do.
Are the new version of Elona+ still playable without any Japanese knowledge or is the future of Elona now in Omake's hands?
Can anyone tell me where to find or buy poison? It's part of a side quest :(

Sorry if the answer is obvious, but I haven't had much luck finding it on my own.
I've been playing with some of the pets you get from the insane book and want to look at what spells one's like the s boy exactly have since it's not on the wiki yet. I'm using elona+ so is it an issue with what version I'm using or have not been searching in the right files?
I'm trying to translate Elona Custom-G 1.90.4 into Korean (received permission from Sableye on August 22, 2019), but because my language is not a part of the SHIFT-JIS encoding, any text I change is converted to question marks when saved. Is there any way to change the HSP editor's encoding or is there a different way to edit HSPs and recompile?

Hey. I am still learning elona i found out you can make custom npc when you press F8, so i thought why the hell i wouldn't try making one. After that i learned and did something's. My first creation was working but sprite was not good (i mean sprite was broken) after that i tried to fix the bmp file, resized it deleted the white part's from it and made it like a png tried to create the npc again and boom game started giving an error. and i suppose it's from the bmp file but error makes me doubt it, the bmp file was png at the beginning so i converted it to bmp and it worked at the first but as i said it was broken. After the all fixes i made i needed to convert the bmp to png and convert the png to bmp again. this makes me think the bmp is broking the game. Here is the error (sorry for making this so long i thought i have no way to explain this better than this.)

Error can simply be fixed with deleting user created npc files which they are located inside user folder but i really wanna know why this error is occurring.

Does anyone know where I could find mods such as additional classes, replacement player sprites, etc. The links under customization are broken or lead to websites only in (I'm just guessing) Japanese. Links would be helpful.

Is there any way to change the player sprite to a monster npc sprite? I'm using the extended list of races and would like to use the sprites in question. Perhaps there is a way to change it using elosnack? Would love some help with this.
