I'm getting multiple lines stating that my starter ally and a gold bell pickup both "could not endure", in blue text. Neither seems to be harmed or any different after these messages and they don't have cursed items on them. Is there something particular this message means?

Are the pets near any food? My guess is that this happens when they're eating food despite being told not to.

No, no food's anywhere near them and they aren't eating. They might be hungry? But they probably aren't at starving or anything similar... I'll see if I have it pop up when they're full or not. They've had their setting changed to not eat/drink from the ground, so.

Good catch, that made this easy to test. Yeah, it seems like it's something that pops up if an ally wants to drink from a well but can't due to tamer's whip restrictions, as opposed to the "drooling" message. Thanks!
